"Raffles" 1983 - 1999
This is just a short tribute to a very special friend who sadly passed away last year at the age of 15.
We purchased him as a kitten from his breeder Ronnie Brooks, intending to campaign him as a show neuter, but as he did so well in his first shows we decided to allow him to be used at stud. He was our first stud cat and we both learnt our "trade" together.
There are very few lines that have not been influenced by him, including some other breed s such as Tonkinese, and Asians.
He became the first Brown Male to achieve the title of U.K. Grand Champion and this at 7 years of age.
His temperament was always faultless, a real gentleman, both on and off the Bench
He is sorely missed.
